Press Brake Operator – Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $25-$30/hr
Hours: 1:30pm-10:00pm
We're seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing team! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that values quality, teamwork, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Amada press brakes
- Program machines and select the proper tooling for each job
- Read and interpret blueprints to produce parts within specified tolerances
- Inspect and measure finished parts using calipers, squares, protractors, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain accurate production records
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with other shop duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating and setting up Amada press brakes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and hot/cold rolled steel
- Understanding of material gauges and thicknesses
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and vibration
