Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. This role requires leadership qualities to supervise maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
- Execute residential painting tasks for facility upkeep when required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during projects or repairs, providing leadership and ensuring safety compliance.
- Read schematics and technical manuals to identify issues and execute repairs efficiently.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong electrical knowledge with experience working with schematics, CMMS systems, and troubleshooting electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters.
- Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with mechanical systems.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical schematics, manuals, and blueprints effectively.
- Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of residential painting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
