Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
- Ability to work in acute care settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
