Warehouse Supervisor
Runway Logistics — Medley, FL Full-Time | On-Site |
About Runway Logistics
Runway Logistics is a growing third-party logistics (3PL) provider based in Medley, FL, minutes from PortMiami and Miami International Airport. We operate Class A warehouse space serving e-commerce brands, retail distribution, and specialty fulfillment projects — from container receiving and B2B shipping to kitting, repack, and value-added services. We're a hands-on, entrepreneurial operation where the right person can make a visible impact every day.
The Role
We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who will own the floor. This is not a desk job — you'll lead our receiving and shipping operations from the dock, set the pace for the team, and be accountable for getting product in, put away, picked, packed, and out the door accurately and on time. You'll be the go-to person for daily execution and a key link between our warehouse team and management.
What You'll Do
Run daily floor operations
- Lead, schedule, and direct warehouse associates across receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping
- Set daily priorities based on inbound schedules, order volume, and client SLAs
- Be present and active on the floor — coaching, problem-solving, and jumping in when needed
Lead receiving
- Manage container unloads, dock scheduling, and inbound appointment flow
- Verify counts against packing lists and BOLs; document and escalate discrepancies, damages, and OS&D
- Ensure accurate, timely receipt entry and put-away in the WMS (Extensiv)
Lead shipping
- Oversee order picking, packing, and outbound staging for parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments
- Ensure orders ship complete, on time, and with correct documentation (BOLs, labels, PODs)
- Coordinate with carriers and drivers; manage dock traffic and pickup schedules
Own accuracy and accountability
- Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts, location audits, and clean transaction discipline in the WMS
- Enforce SOPs for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and special projects (kitting, repack, retail prep)
- Track and report daily KPIs: receipts processed, orders shipped, accuracy, and labor productivity
Lead the team
- Train new hires and cross-train associates across functions
- Hold the team to safety, housekeeping (5S), and performance standards
- Address performance issues directly and escalate as needed
Safety and compliance
- Enforce forklift and equipment safety, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards
- Keep aisles, docks, and staging areas clean, organized, and audit-ready
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of warehouse experience with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role (3PL, distribution, or fulfillment environment strongly preferred)
- Proven experience running receiving and shipping operations — container devanning, dock management, parcel and freight outbound
- Hands-on WMS experience required; Extensiv (3PL Central) a plus
- Certified (or certifiable) forklift operator: sit-down, reach truck, and/or electric pallet jack
- Strong attention to detail with counts, paperwork, and system transactions
- A lead-from-the-front mentality — comfortable working the dock, not just watching it
- Reliable, punctual, and able to flex hours during peak periods and project deadlines
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment platforms (ShipStation or similar)
- Experience with kitting, repack, or retail prep projects
- Familiarity with LTL/FTL scheduling and carrier coordination
- Basic Excel / Google Sheets skills for daily reporting
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Growth opportunity in a fast-growing 3PL — we promote from within
- Direct access to ownership and a real voice in how the operation runs
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Benefits:
Work Location: In person
