DA Prevention Coordinator is responsible for leading the Department of Children and Families’ initiative to support the development implementation of the Domestic Abuse Program aimed at providing safety and support services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. This is a complex, high visibility issue that involves cross-division and cross-systems collaboration, including coordination with local domestic abuse agencies, coalitions, training and technical assistance providers, tribes, advocates, survivors, and other state agencies. This position is responsible for advising Division policies, procedures, programs and training related to domestic abuse. In addition, the primary responsibilities include the administration and monitoring of DCF contracts with local domestic abuse agencies for the provision of domestic abuse services for survivors and children. Oversight includes subrecipient monitoring, site visits, and assisting in the procurement, evaluation, and support of grant funding and the implementation of services by agencies. This position is responsible for advising Division policies, procedures, programs and training related to domestic abuse. The position supports policy setting and strategic direction, changes and initiatives related to Wisconsin’s child welfare system.

HV Program Coordinator is responsible for leading the Department of Children and Families’ initiative to support the development implementation of the Family Foundation Home Visiting (FFHV) Program across the state. The FFHV Program, aimed at reducing child maltreatment, improving maternal and child health, and ensuring children are ready to learn upon kindergarten entry, is a primary driver in prevention and early intervention for improving the health outcomes for children. The primary responsibilities include administration and monitoring of all FFHV contracts with local agencies for the provision of FFHV home visiting services. The role includes cross-division and cross-systems collaboration, including coordination with educational systems, health and wellness partners, providers, counties, tribes, and other state agencies. This position is responsible for advising Division policies, procedures, programs and training related to home visiting. The role also provides oversight including subrecipient monitoring, assisting in the procurement, evaluation, and support of grant funding and the implementation of services by agencies. This position supports policy setting and strategic direction, change and initiatives, related to Wisconsin’s child welfare system.
