CES Management Group, a Residential Property Management company located in Houston seeks qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Technician-Contract to join our Maintenance Teams at Multiple properties.
Candidates must be high energy, team-oriented, have a professional appearance, be highly detailed and organized, performance driven, have excellent service skills and the ability to manage and organize multiple projects. This position requires strong knowledge of all areas of maintenance . Candidates must be fluent in speaking English and able to work On-Call on a rotating basis. Required to pass background and drug test .
- Assists with apartment make-ready procedures: paints, cleans carpets, windows, and appliances. Services appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures. Repairs or replaces old and faulty parts. Checks locks and replaces burned out light bulbs
- Complete service tickets with detailed description of repairs
- Thorough knowledge of tools and their uses
- Regular inspections of grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment: Checks for appearance and cleanliness, structural cracks, excessive wear, and faulty parts
- Makes repairs or replacements, as necessary and with approval of supervisor
- Has thorough knowledge of power, water, and gas turnoffs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants
- Follows all company emergency procedures
Skills/Qualifications
Must be able to diagnose problems and repair the following:
- Basic – Intermediate plumbing
- Basic – Intermediate electrical (when no license required)
- Sheet rock
- General carpentry
- Painting
- Pressure washing
- Tile and wood floor repair**Must have own transportation and some tools**
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
