Contract to hire (6 months on contract before permanent hire)
A prominent manufacturing firm located in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a Designer to join their expanding engineering department. This position is perfect for a professional who thrives in a team-oriented setting and possesses a background in adapting current product designs to satisfy unique client needs.
Your primary focus will be on revising and tailoring standard product schematics to align with specific customer requests. You will work in tandem with project managers, drafters, and various internal groups to guarantee that projects are completed precisely and on schedule.
Core Responsibilities

Adjust and refine current product schematics to align with specific client needs and project parameters.

Generate and update intricate technical illustrations utilizing AutoCAD and MicroStation software.

Work alongside project managers and internal staff to ensure that final designs satisfy both client expectations and production standards.

Evaluate client feedback to implement necessary design adjustments while upholding consistent quality benchmarks.

Help the engineering and manufacturing departments by delivering precise and reliable design documentation.

Aid in the maintenance of drawing updates and technical records throughout the duration of every project.
Required Qualifications

Minimum of two years of design experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering setting.

Demonstrated expertise in using AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Proven history of adapting existing technical drawings and designs to meet specific client requirements.

High level of precision and strong organizational capabilities.
