Complimentary AM Breakfast Attendant
Purpose:
The Complimentary AM Breakfast Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in the hotel’s breakfast area. This role ensures a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming environment while maintaining brand standards and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Set up, maintain, and replenish the complimentary breakfast area
- Ensure all food and beverage items are fresh, properly displayed, and fully stocked
- Keep the breakfast area clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Clear, clean, and reset tables and service areas promptly
- Accommodate guest requests and provide alternatives when necessary
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and cleaning chemicals
- Assist with dishwashing, restocking supplies, and general kitchen upkeep
- Perform opening and closing duties, including side work as assigned
- Answer guest questions regarding the hotel, amenities, and local attractions
- Support other departments as needed and perform additional duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous hospitality or food service experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler’s Permit (if required)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 90% of the shift)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs
- Frequent bending, stooping, and movement required
- Work is performed indoors in a well-ventilated environment

- Follow all company policies and brand standards to ensure safe and efficient operations
