An assistant principal (AP) serves on the school leadership team, supporting the principal in daily operations, faculty management, and instructional leadership. The AP administers the educational program in order to promote the educational development and achievement of students in accordance with the school’s policies, administrative procedures, rules and regulations, and applicable law. The AP provides leadership in program development and improvement, as well as in professional faculty development. They assume full administrative responsibility in the principal’s absence.
