Floor Care Technician
JNS Facility Maintenance is a local, family-owned company with over 30 years of experience serving Ann Arbor and the surrounding area. We are looking for a dependable Floor Care Technician to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with janitorial, cleaning, maintenance, or similar experience. Whether you have floor-care experience or are interested in learning a new skill, we’re looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on, and willing to learn.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–11:00 PM (Flexible Start Time)
- Company vehicle used for work travel
- Travel Radius: Local Ann Arbor areas
- Full-time, year-round position
Job Responsibilities
- Travel to local client buildings in a company vehicle
- Clean and maintain carpets and hard-surface floors
- Use commercial floor-care and carpet-cleaning equipment
- Perform carpet spot cleaning, pre-treatment, and extraction
- Perform floor scrubbing, stripping, buffing, and refinishing
- Take before-and-after pictures and update completed work
- Keep equipment clean and in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and client instructions
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous janitorial, cleaning, maintenance, or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Able to safely lift and move equipment and supplies
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn and take pride in your work
- Good attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
