Emanate Abilities, a small business located in Cheyenne, WY, is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join their team. The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting individuals with disabilities in achieving their personal goals, providing support and guidance in daily activities, and developing and implementing individualized service plans. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of services provided, fostering positive relationships with individuals, families, and other service providers, and providing transportation to recreational activities, and other community events. Additionally, the role involves assisting individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a pay range of $14.00 to $15.00 per hour and expected working hours between 20 to 50 hours per week. CNA experience is not required but is preferred and willing to train the right individual.
Benefits include, paid training and time off, end of year bonus, and a safe, casual work environment. The work schedule may include day shifts, night shifts, overnight shifts, and weekends. Requirements: you must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a national background. Qualifications include a valid driver's license, CPR certification, First Aid certification, and Medication Assistance Training certification (MAT). Certifications can be obtained once hired if needed.
