Valdosta Orthopedic Associates is searching for a full time Physical Therapist who is focused on quality patient care, superior outcomes and enjoy being a part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Dedicated to achieving the highest quality of care optimizing superior clinical outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate patient's case history, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions to determine the patients’ potential for rehabilitation.
- Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals defined by the patient's capacity and tolerance and in accordance with physician orders.
- Educate patient, document and record the patient's condition and provide continuing updates on patient condition.
- Examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
- Comply with both federal and state guidelines, including all licensing requirements
- Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in orthopedic and manual therapy skills
- Experience in dry needling
- Current License in the State of Georgia
- Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current CPR certification
