Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Vancouver, WA

*This position is a swing shift, however during training the hours will be during day shift.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems that support daily manufacturing operations. This role ensures that all machinery and equipment run efficiently, minimizing downtime and supporting production goals. The mechanic will collaborate closely with the maintenance team and other departments to maintain a safe, productive, and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including PLCs, motor drives, and control switches
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, mechanical prints, and technical data
- Maintain machinery for optimal performance and reliability
- Coordinate equipment needs and maintenance requirements with production and supervisory personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with all team members
- Perform duties in a warehouse/manufacturing environment, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, high temperatures, and loud noise
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of industrial mechanic experience
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Experience in metal fabrication, welding, forklift operation, service, and repair
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

Schedule
Regular schedule: 4pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday
Training to occur on dayshift 6am-2:30pm Monday – Friday (4-6 months)
