Position: Kindergarten Teacher

Overview: In this role at Redeemer Christian School, you actively contribute to enriching students’ learning experiences through a biblical worldview. You bring passion, care, and self-motivation to your work each day, creating a dynamic and supportive environment that helps students grow academically and spiritually.
Requirements
- Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior and is committed through regular attendance/membership to a local, Bible-believing church.
- Believe that the Bible is God’s Word and standard for faith and daily living.
- Agree to Redeemer Christian School’s Statement of Faith and seek, in speech and actions, to glorify God.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field.
- Maintain an up to date Florida teaching certification or in the process of obtaining one.
- Prior teaching or professional experience in the content area is preferred.
- Must be comfortable with technology (i.e. computers, Google Suite, Smartboards, etc.).
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Have a deep appreciation for the culture and values of Redeemer Christian School.
- Present an attitude that inspires the love of learning.
- Utilize prescribed curriculum material to plan the school year, create lesson plans, create/utilize learning opportunities, assignments, assessments and all other necessary activities for students to learn the expected content.
- Enhance the learning opportunities to best fit each student’s learning style.
- Provide enrichment through student engagement including discussions, group activities, hands-on activities, field trips, etc.
- Find additional resources, as appropriate, to enhance the learning experience.
- Demonstrate a Christ-centered rapport with students, parents, staff, and the community, maintaining professionalism in all your relationships.
- Uphold professional standards of attitude, appearance, punctuality, courtesy, and discretion.
- Attend and support all assigned school functions.
- Adhere to the guidelines and duties outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
- Possess the ability to withstand extended periods of standing and active movement.
- Perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and lifting (various playground items 10-15lbs).

Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year
