Job Overview
We are seeking a PRN, dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team in Pontotoc. The candidate will have excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Urgent or primary care is not a requirement but considered a plus. Minimum of 1 year experience practicing as a FNP. Must be able to see pediatric patients. DEA number required. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations on patients of all ages, including, but not limited to, pediatrics.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment and follow-up care.
- Interpret laboratory results to guide clinical decision-making.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Proficiency in managing patients during high volume patient load.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
