Duties
- Prepare a variety of boba tea and other non-alcoholic beverages with precision and care, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage preparation stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage cash handling duties accurately by processing cash transactions and giving correct change.
- Restock supplies regularly, including ingredients, cups, straws, and napkins, to keep the station well-equipped.
- Follow food safety protocols during beverage preparation and food handling to ensure a safe experience for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred; familiarity with beverage service and drink preparation is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed.
