Dunwell Catering is hiring a Catering Lead / FOH Captain for the upcoming catering season throughout South Florida. This role leads our on-site event staff and sets the standard for service at every event.
We're looking for someone with real fine dining experience who can bring high-end restaurant, private club, or high-society hospitality standards to our catering events. Prior experience in a butler, maitre d', banquet captain, or catering management role is a big plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and coach servers and event staff on-site before and during events
- Set the tone for professional, polished front-of-house service
- Run event logistics: setup, station assignments, timing, and breakdown
- Personally work alongside the team on setup, running stations, and breakdown, just like any staff member
- Communicate with the client/venue contact and troubleshoot issues in real time
- Maintain the high-end hospitality standard we expect at every event
We're looking for someone ready to take our FOH professionalism to the next level, not just show up and work a shift, but actually elevate the team around them.
Pay: Starting at $25 per hour for well-experienced staff, based on experience.
