A respected AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Business Associate Attorney to join its Cincinnati office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated corporate and transactional matters within a collaborative and growing business practice serving middle-market and national clients across a broad range of industries.
The firm is seeking a team-oriented associate with strong corporate transactional experience who is interested in handling complex business matters and taking on meaningful client-facing responsibility.
Associates in this position may work on matters involving:
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Corporate governance and entity formation
- Financing and restructuring transactions
- Strategic joint ventures
- General business and commercial transactions
- Divestitures and corporate reorganizations
- Fund formation matters
- Ongoing outside general counsel advisory work for business clients
Attorneys will work closely with business owners, private companies, investors, lenders, and management teams on sophisticated transactional matters.
- 4+ years of corporate and transactional experience
- Experience handling sophisticated M&A and business transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Experience with financing, restructuring, and governance matters preferred
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Ohio Bar admission required or ability to waive in
- Sophisticated middle-market and national transactional platform
- Significant client-facing responsibility and hands-on deal experience
- Collaborative and collegial team environment
- Strong long-term growth and partnership-track potential

Compensation: $190,000–$300,000 DOE
