As a Veterinary Technician/Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
-
Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and overall pet wellness
-
Placing IV catheters and collecting diagnostic samples
-
Calculating and preparing medication dosages accurately
-
Administering medications and treatments as directed
-
Performing and interpreting basic cytology preparations
-
Monitoring anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures and recovery
-
Preparing patients for surgery and assisting during surgical procedures
-
Performing dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and related procedures
-
Positioning patients for diagnostic radiographs

Maintaining accurate medical records

Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and treatment areas

Demonstrating initiative and contributing positively to team culture

Minimum of 2+ years of veterinary technician experience

Experience in a full-service general practice, emergency, specialty hospital, or a combination of these settings

Strong technical and critical-thinking skills

Excellent communication and client education abilities

Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
