Full Job Description
Fab Metal LLC is looking for an CNC machine and saw operator with minimum 1 years experience to join our team. Candidate will be required to bring personal measuring tools. The candidate will enjoy working with experienced coworkers on multiple different products every single day and will mainly work on our HAAS VF6 CNC mill and HAAS ST35Y CNC lathe with live tooling as well as our saw.
Candidate must be detailed oriented, organized, competent and comprehend complex operations.
Responsibilities
- Organize workflow and preparing schedules
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Check production output according to specifications and programs
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements in our shop.
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
Skills
- Proven experience in production using CNC machines
- Familiarity with MasterCam desired but not essential
- Familiarity with HAAS machines preferred
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma; Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
