Duties
- Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities
- Support classroom management by implementing behavior management techniques and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement
- Use educational technologies and computers to enhance student learning experiences
- Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning, tutoring, mentoring, and individualized support for students with disabilities or autism
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Able to move between 3 different classrooms (Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool) on a rotating basis
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge of childhood development, behavior management, and classroom behavior strategies
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and students
- Ability to supervise children safely while providing nurturing support and guidance
- Experience with educational technologies and computers used in classroom settings
- Certification in first aid and CPR or willing to obtain certification (employer will pay for the course)
- Proven ability to work well within a team environment; previous experience in private schools or Montessori settings is a plus

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
