Location: Walsenburg, CO
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $33.50/hr.
Travel Position Only (Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility)
Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Active Colorado CNA License (Required)
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 1-2 years of Medical-Surgical (Acute Care) CNA experience
- At least 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) experience (2 years preferred)
- Must be comfortable floating between Med Surg and ER
- Experience working in acute hospital settings
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Travel candidates only (60+ miles from facility)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical Acute Care unit and Emergency Department.
- Assist nurses with patient monitoring, mobility, hygiene, vital signs, and activities of daily living.
- Float between Med Surg and ER based on patient care needs.
- Accurately document patient information using CPSI EMR.
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients with a wide range of illnesses, injuries, trauma cases, and geriatric conditions.
