Job Description:
We're a local music education studio looking for a piano teacher to work with beginner students in their first 1-4 years of learning piano. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their teaching career, or a strong player looking to start instruction.
What you'll do:
- Teach private piano lessons or small-group piano to beginner-level students
- Help students build a foundation in music reading, technique, and confidence at the keyboard
What we're looking for:
- Ability to read music fluently in both treble and bass clef
- Solid piano technique
- Some experience or strong aptitude for teaching/instruction (formal teaching experience not required)
- Patient, encouraging approach with beginner students and rapport with students and parents
- Reliable availability Monday–Thursday, 4–8 PM, flexible within those days. Start with one or two days, with potential to build the schedule over time.
Training provided: We're willing to train the right candidate. New teachers start with a paid training and observation period ($10/hour) before transitioning to independent teaching at full pay ($16–$25/hour, based on experience).
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
