Analysis Technician
[ Summary ]
This position supports product analysis and field issue resolution activities by performing analytical tasks, tests, and data preparation under the direction of the Lab Supervisor.
The role contributes to problem-solving by applying technical skills and disciplined execution within defined procedures, without holding final decision-making or QMS ownership responsibility.
This position is a non-decision-making role.
Final technical judgment, customer communication, and official reporting are handled by the company.
Activities are performed under the company's QMS–related procedures, as applicable to support functions.
The role contributes to field issue resolution through technical execution and collaboration, not through independent authority.
[ Essential Duties ]
1. Product Analysis & Testing Execution
Perform product disassembly, sample preparation, inspection, measurement, and testing on cells, modules, and packs.
Execute analysis and testing tasks in accordance with defined procedures and work instructions.
Operate laboratory equipment and tools safely and correctly.
Record test conditions, measurements, and observations accurately and completely.
2. Data Generation & Documentation
Prepare raw data, test results, photographs, and supporting materials for analysis activities.
Maintain proper documentation and records for assigned analysis tasks.
Ensure traceability of samples, test conditions, and results.
3. Laboratory Operation Support
Support daily laboratory operations, including housekeeping and preparation activities.
Assist with routine equipment checks and report abnormalities to the Lab Supervisor.
Support handling, labeling, storage, and preparation of defective product samples.
4. Field Issue Investigation Support
Support assigned analysis activities related to field or customer issues.
Perform analysis tasks required to generate technical evidence for failure investigations.
Support timely execution of analysis tasks according to priorities defined by the Lab Supervisor.
[Responsibilities]
1. Contribution to Field Issue Resolution
Contribute to field issue resolution by providing reliable technical data and analysis results.
Participate as a technical team member in investigations to help clarify failure mechanisms and issues.
Support cross-functional problem-solving efforts under the direction of the Lab Supervisor.
2. Compliance & Discipline
Perform all activities in compliance with applicable QMS procedures, safety rules, and laboratory standards
(including IATF 16949–related support requirements, ISO 45001, and internal QMS).
Follow laboratory safety requirements and contribute to a safe working environment.
3. Collaboration & Communication
Work collaboratively with Lab Supervisors, engineers, technicians, and cross-functional team members.
Communicate analysis progress, issues, and results clearly to the supervising personnel.
Escalate abnormalities, risks, or deviations promptly.
4. Continuous Improvement Support
Support continuous improvement activities related to laboratory operations and analysis efficiency.
Share observations and suggestions for improving analysis processes, safety, and work practices.
5. Role Boundaries
Perform work as a non-decision-making role.
Final technical judgment, customer communication, and official reporting remain the responsibility of the company.
Execute assigned tasks under documented procedures and supervisory instruction.

[ Qualifications ]
EDUCATION
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
(or equivalent technical experience).
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
Experience in laboratory work, testing, inspection, or technical support roles.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or materials principles.
Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately and consistently.
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
Willingness to learn product analysis techniques and laboratory safety practices.
Basic communication skills in English for technical work environments.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
Experience with product systems, automotive components, or quality analysis.
Familiarity with QMS concepts (IATF 16949–related work, ISO standards).
Experience working in laboratory or manufacturing-related environments.
Experience with automotive products and related testing.
Japanese conversation ability preferred

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
