POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The Repair Technician is responsible for installation and/or repair of pool pumps, filters, heaters, pool plumbing, and automation systems. The incumbent will work a prescribed route and keep clients informed of recommended modifications while providing exceptional customer service.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and/or replace all filter pump, and motor makes and models. Ensure proper filter/pump/motor sizing to provide the correct flow and filtration for the pool/spa.
- Provide troubleshooting, repair or replacement services for all major brand heater
- Install, repair and provide customers with lighting solutions.
- Install, repair and program all major automation systems.
- Install and repair all major brands of alternative sanitizers.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues with pool and spa equipment; repair or replace damaged pool/spa equipment wiring, ground-fault circuit interrupters and breakers.
- Repair or install large commercial filters, pumps, controllers, heaters, etc.
- Manage an inventory of equipment on the truck and properly utilize and replenish the inventory when needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- 3 years of repair/construction, or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Operate a company vehicle.
