Summary of position:
The Service Advisor is responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle repair needs by acting as the primary liaison between the customer and the service repair teams.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Interact with customers, listen to their concerns, and provide timely responses.

Educate clients about the company’s products, services, and offers.

Schedule appointments, take orders, monitor service progress, calculate charges, and process payments.

Review customer accounts and report changes to internal staff.

Manage complaints, returns and resolve customer grievances.

Provide excellent customer service.

Record customer details and transactions.

Serve as a customer relationship manager.

Serve as a link between customers and various departments within the organization.

Ensure sales goals are achieved.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, required.

2+ years experience in a service advisor role, preferred.

Proven demonstration of strong customer service skills.
-
Tire experience and/or commercial tire experience is a plus.
-
Knowledgeable in computer applications and industry-specific software.
-
Basic accounting skills and knowledge of electronic payment systems.
-
US work authorization.
Required Licenses or Certifications:

Driver's License, unrestricted
Work Environment/Expectations:

Work will occur in well-lit, well-ventilated repair shop locations.

Exposure is grease, car exhaust and chemicals is expected.

Background noise from coworkers, vehicles and various tools is expected.

Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
-
Must wear company branded work attire.
Physical Requirements:

Bending, sitting and squatting is expected.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Regular use of computer keyboard and telephone.
-
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds routinely.

Must be able to walk, talk, listen and speak clearly.

Use of fine motor skills is expected.
