A company offering full-service merchandise production and fulfillment of screen printing, embroidery, direct-to-garment dying, Apparel Production and 3PL Services is seeking a Production Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain, e-commerce operations, and tour logistics at their Chatsworth location.
Summary: This role is crucial in ensuring smooth merchandise production, procurement, and fulfillment for both online sales and live events. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data entry, order procurement, vendor relations, sourcing, and negotiating while managing production timelines and costs effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement, sourcing, and cost-effective production of merchandise, with expertise in screen printing & embroidery.
- Coordinate order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping logistics for online sales.
- Work closely with venues, vendors, and tour teams to ensure smooth delivery and distribution of merchandise at live events.
- Negotiate contracts, coordinate shipping schedules, and manage relationships with suppliers, print shops, and fulfillment centers.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory levels, order tracking, and production timelines via spreadsheets and data entry systems.
- Quickly adapt to challenges such as delayed shipments, last-minute changes, and on-site logistical issues.
- Oversee sample and bulk production timelines, ensuring quality control with printers and vendors in line with compliance standards. Monitor and troubleshoot delivery of components such as blanks, hang tags, and size tags.
- Enter and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders, distributing documents to the appropriate teams. Maintain and update the Production Work-In-Progress (WIP) report, circulating it weekly to vendors and tracking progress, while communicating updates to the e-commerce team.
- Review and manage art assets for both e-commerce and tour usage, ensuring accurate distribution to vendors and production partners.
- Process and receive POs in the ERP system, clear out MROs, transfer scraps, and collaborate with accounting to verify invoice accuracy. Investigate and adjust POs as needed based on shipping documents.
- Review vendor packing slips, ERP inventory postings, and warehouse partner receiving reports to ensure accuracy. Reconcile discrepancies with warehouse and vendor teams.
- Assist the Senior Production Manager with annual warehouse inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Identify and implement new processes to improve order ingestion, production, and sampling efficiencies, streamlining workflows for both e-commerce and touring operations.
Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of merchandise manufacturing and production.
- Screen Printing and Embroidery experience is preferred.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Flexible and adaptable to a very fast-paced environment.
- Domestic and International Logistics preferred
- 3+ Years in Music Merchandise Industry/Supply Chain Management
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Experience in Google workspace.
- Adobe Suite and Canva Experience is preferred.
- Pantone Color Experience preferred.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
