In seek of a full-time Patient Service Coordinator for a well-established, Physical Therapist-owned private practice in Seattle. ProFormance Rehab has been a community resource in the Eastlake neighborhood in Seattle for over 20+ years. We are a fun, family-oriented, enthusiastic and dedicated practice who prioritize excellent patient care and customer service.
The role of the Patient Service Coordinator is to provide excellent customer service and administrative support to the clinic. Our ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal skills, is organized, is an effective multi-tasker, is able to handle daily problem solving efficiently and understands that the administrative and clinical sides both support each other. Light tech duties may be required at times.
The Patient Service Coordinator will have knowledge and be responsible for:
- Providing excellent external and internal customer service
- Performing all daily administrative duties including but not limited to:
- Scheduling patients
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Conducting patient intake- gathering patient info, verification of insurance, coordinating referrals, charting etc.
- Obtaining insurance authorizations
- Collecting co-pays and patient balances.
- Working side by side with manager, owner and clinicians to provide them with the necessary administrative resources and support to do their jobs effectively and efficiently
- Perform special projects and duties as assigned
- Be able to handle responsibilities independently & troubleshoot unanticipated issues as they arise
Qualifications / Requirements:
- A team player with outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Motivated and eager to establish a presence in the community
- At least 1+ years medical/administrative office experience
- Proficient in computer skills (experience with WebPT and Google Business Suite preferred)
- Ability to multitask
- Basic knowledge of insurance
