Job description:
We are seeking an Accounting and Accounts Payable Officer who will be responsible for supporting the company’s daily accounting and administrative operations, ensuring that accounts payable processes, accounting records, and financial compliance are handled accurately and on time. Responsibilities will include payment processing, reconciliations, payroll entries, utilities management, and support in the preparation of financial statements and tax obligations.
General Duties:
· Reconciliations
· Preparing journal entries
· Month-end closing
· Full bookkeeping in QuickBooks
· Daily recording of vendor invoices in QuickBooks
· Processing ACH payments and recording bank transfers
· Issuing, endorsing, and depositing checks for vendors
· Payment of utilities such as Claro, Liberty, Luma, etc.
· Manage akk required filings, payments and correspondence with government platforms including CRIM and SURI.
· Recording payroll entries in accounting books (QuickBooks)
· Balancing and reconciling quarterly bonuses
· Managing shift prepayments and recording cash balances
· Equipment inventory records and updates
· Local purchases and purchase orders
· Coordinate deliveries and receiving
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university; or minimum two to three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Fully bilingual (English and Spanish – oral and written)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
· Proficient in Quickbooks (AP processing, journal entries, bank reconciliations and payroll recording)
· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent organizational skills
· Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments

Pay: $28,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
