Two Daughters Bagels is opening this September, and we're looking for friendly, energetic baristas who are passionate about great coffee and exceptional customer service.
We're building more than a bagel shop—we're creating a neighborhood gathering place where every customer is welcomed with a smile, every drink is crafted with care, and every visit is memorable. What You'll Do
As a Barista, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages while helping ensure every customer has an outstanding experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, matcha, and other beverages according to recipes.
- Maintain consistency and quality in every drink served.
- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Take customer orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Answer questions about our menu and make recommendations.
- Assist with slicing bagels, preparing cream cheese, assembling cold sandwiches, and packaging takeout and online orders as needed.
- Keep the coffee station clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Restock front-of-house products and supplies throughout the day.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning responsibilities.
- Work closely with the bakery team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people.
- Takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
- Is dependable, punctual, and works well as part of a team.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Pays attention to detail and enjoys learning new skills.
- Can stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Is available for early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous barista, coffee shop, restaurant, or bakery experience.
- Experience preparing espresso beverages.
- Cash handling and point-of-sale experience.
- Food Handler training or willingness to complete company-provided training.
Schedule
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available
- Typical shifts begin approximately 5:00 am
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Paid training begins in early September
