Network Engineer Tier I
Job Description:
Network Engineer position is responsible for desktop support issues as well as network, server management and third-party software. The Tier I Engineer position will be responsible for escalating issues as needed to Sr. Engineers for intermediate resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in making IT a career. The training is excellent, and we are looking for an individual with problem solving skills, critical thinking ability and attention to detail capability.
The position requires reporting directly to the client site(s) in Arlington, VA. The position is a Monday-Friday requirement with minimal travel to the client sites (all within 2 miles).
Requirements/Responsibilities:
- MSP experience is preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Experience supporting issues related to: Servers, Laptops, Desktops, Networks, Software—COTS.
- In-depth working knowledge with a CRM (ConnectWise preferred).
- Proven track record supporting M365 and Active Directory.
- Proficient with all Microsoft suite products.
- Ability to create proper documentation for network configurations, procedures and policies.
- Professional attitude and commitment to providing exceptional client service.
