Wage Scale: $22 to $25 Hourly | D.O.E. & based on longevity with the company
Lil’ People’s World is looking to add a Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher to our team! We are looking for a candidate that has a strong understanding of classroom environment and a passion for Early Learning.
LPW is a progressive and interactive early learning child care center that began in 1993. We are hoping to add an energetic, fun-loving teacher to our team. Job description includes: Working with children on their daily activities and curriculum inside and outside the classroom. Following all DCYF/WAC requirements, communication with the families about their child’s needs and day, and collaboration with fellow teachers.
***This job requires the ability to navigate stairs/Seattle Only, bend, reach, lift, move objects and children. Minimal sitting, mostly standing, walking, and moving around***

Other Compensation offered:
· Tuition Reimbursement for ECE Classes/Credits: We are part of an Early Achiever’s Program that allows us the ability to send teachers to school at little to no cost. This program is for teachers who want to attain ECE Credits, which can be built to an Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in ECE.
Needed upon hiring:
Cleared Portable Background Check, Food Handlers Permit, MMR vaccination, Proof of Negative TB Test, Valid driver’s license, High school Diploma, 30 Hours STARS Training (preferred).
During Training period:
30 Hour STARS Training, CPR, 1st Aid, BBP/HIV Training, Safe Sleep Training, EQEL if needed
***All applicable WAC/DCYF Trainings***
