Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of beauty treatments including hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and esthetic laser treatments to meet client needs.
- Provide expert nail services such as manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, pedicures, and nail care consultations.
- Execute precise body waxing, hair threading, and dermabrasion procedures ensuring client comfort and safety.
- Apply color theory principles for hair coloring services and recommend suitable products or treatments to enhance client results.
- Maintain salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and proper equipment handling.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, offer professional advice, and upsell retail products confidently.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to continually improve service quality and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or certification from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse services.
- Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, eyelash extensions, and other advanced beauty techniques.
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation and disinfection procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to upsell retail products through effective client engagement and sales skills.
- Competence in retail math for product recommendations and sales transactions.
