Showroom & Design Assistant (Part-Time, Paid)

About the role
We're a luxury kitchen, bath, and millwork showroom in the heart of Pasadena, representing premium brands including Dell Anno cabinetry, Miele, Cosentino, Gessi, and Lutron/Ketra lighting. We're looking for a motivated interior design or interior architecture student to grow with us as we open our newly positioned showroom. This is a hands-on, mentorship-driven role for someone eager to learn the business of high-end design from the inside — guided one-on-one by a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD).
What you'll do
- Learn to prepare quotes and specifications for real luxury projects
- Welcome and assist clients in the showroom, in person and by phone/email
- Help with material and finish selection, sample organization, and the showroom's display and presentation
- Support and create social media and content showcasing the showroom and our brands (a real plus)
- Contribute to sales and earn commission on projects you help bring in
- Assist with day-to-day showroom upkeep so the space always looks its best

You are
- An interior design / interior architecture student with a sharp eye for detail
- Eager to learn how projects are quoted, specified, and sold — no prior experience required
- Comfortable with social media and content creation (a strong plus, not required)
- Warm, professional, and reliable with clients
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
- Familiar with CAD or design software a plus; willingness to learn is what matters most
Compensation: $20–24/hr base depending on experience, plus commission on sales, with a review at 90 days. Part-time, ~20 hrs/week, flexible around your classes. On-site at our Pasadena showroom.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $62,024.64 per year
