The Role
Accounts Payable Domestic Processor completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling job cost invoices while providing excellent customer service relationships.
What You’ll Do

Research and code a high volume of vendor invoices in paperless OnBase system.

Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system report compensation schedules to balances due.

Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying and resolving invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.

Insuring credit is received for outstanding memos and balances due by vendors.

Correcting job cost errors by creating memos to correct any errors identified during month end review.

Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling weekly/monthly statements and related transactions. Research and address open activity contained on vendor aging statements.

Respond to customer questions and needs in a timely manner.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Attend and participate in all team meetings.

Other projects and duties as necessary.
What You’ll Need

High School diploma or GED OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Ability to handle difficult customers and situations and be able to solve problems.

Pleasant and professional phone voice.

Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs.

Ability to learn all internal computer programs.

Willingness to take on additional projects/workload and maintain good synergy within the team environment.

Ability to adapt and learn in a changing environment.

Bachelor's degree and/or 1+ years accounting experience
