Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)
JCCA is seeking dedicated Licensed Creative Arts Therapist to provide art therapy services to youth with serious emotional disturbances (SED) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This Fee-For-Service opportunity is ideal for creative clinicians who wants to make a meaningful difference through art, healing, and emotional expression.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging group and individual art therapy sessions for youth in a residential treatment setting.
- Develop treatment plans, therapeutic goals, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
- Use art-based strategies to support youth during crisis promote emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with clinical and recreation teams.
- Participate in clinical supervision.
Qualifications
- Current LCAT license
- Master’s degree in Art Therapy
- At least one year of experience working with children or youth
- Strong communication, documentation, and crisis-management skills
