Condominium Community On-site Superintendent
Full-Time Position
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Condominium Community Superintendent to oversee the daily maintenance, appearance, safety, and operations of a well-maintained condominium community.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable, proactive leader with strong handyman and maintenance skills who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive property. This position reports directly to the Property Manager and works closely with residents, contractors, vendors, and community staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the property.
- Utilize basic handyman skills, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and common areas.
- Identify and address maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
- Assist in directing and coordinating the daily activities of cleaning crews, garbage collection staff, and security personnel.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure work is completed to community standards.
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors performing work on-site.
- Develop positive working relationships with residents, contractors, and service providers.
- Respond professionally to resident concerns and maintenance requests.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the community.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of property maintenance, superintendent, facilities, or related experience preferred.
- Strong handyman skills, including basic painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Ability to perform minor repairs independently and safely.
- Experience using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff, contractors, and management.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
- Valid driver's license required.
