Cyber Labs Solutions helps companies modernize manual workflows with AI-native automation, internal tools, integrations, dashboards, and custom software. We are hiring a part-time Sales Development Representative for AI/software services to build a focused pipeline of qualified clients.
This is a sales and business-development role, not a software engineering role. Coding experience is optional, and this role will not be writing production software. We need someone who can research prospects, qualify business problems, support outbound outreach, maintain CRM notes, and help book discovery calls for AI workflow automation and custom software services.
Schedule and compensation:
- Part-time, remote in the United States.
- San Diego/California preferred but not required.
- Expected 5-10 hours per week to start.
- $30-$40/hour. Performance bonus may be available for qualified meetings held and signed client work, subject to a written bonus/commission agreement.
The goal is simple: create qualified conversations with business buyers who have real workflow, automation, integration, reporting, or internal-tool pain. You should be comfortable learning enough about AI/software services to ask smart questions, but the day-to-day work is prospect research, outreach support, qualification, follow-up, CRM hygiene, and sales pipeline discipline.
Responsibilities:
- Research target accounts and identify likely operational workflow pain.
- Find relevant decision makers and buyer paths.
- Draft and send approved outreach through approved channels.
- Maintain CRM records, lead notes, follow-ups, and pipeline status.
- Support founder-led discovery and proposal preparation.
- Track outreach results and recommend better segments or messaging.
- Protect clean separation from any current employer or third-party confidential information.
Good fit:
- Experience in B2B sales development, SDR/BDR work, business development, outbound prospecting, lead generation, account research, customer success, RevOps, consulting sales, or founder-led sales support.
- Clear writing and strong research instincts.
- Comfortable with LinkedIn, CRM tools, spreadsheets, and concise prospect notes.
- Able to learn enough about AI workflow automation and software delivery to qualify prospects.
- Authorized to work in the United States if hired as a W-2 employee.
Nice to have:
- Existing familiarity with San Diego/California SMB, professional-services, healthcare, real estate, SaaS, operations, or technology buyers.
- Technical fluency with software, AI tools, automation, SaaS, integrations, or cloud concepts.
- Prior exposure to consulting, agencies, implementation services, or B2B software/services sales.
Not a fit:
- Candidates primarily looking for a software developer, software engineer, frontend/backend, QA, DevOps, CloudOps, or production coding role.
- Candidates who want a pure marketing/content role without outbound prospecting or sales follow-up.
