As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory & Materials Assistant to support inventory management, material coordination, and daily operational activities.
Position Overview
The Inventory & Materials Assistant plays an important role in maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking materials, supporting project supply needs, and helping ensure materials are available for scheduled jobs and installations.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with inventory, materials, logistics, and operational support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials, supplies, and inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory tracking activities
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock items to management
- Prepare materials and supplies for upcoming projects and installations
- Assist with inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliation
- Label, organize, and store materials according to company procedures
- Coordinate material deliveries and assist with shipment verification
- Track purchase orders, material usage, and inventory movement
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area
- Support project teams by ensuring materials are available and properly prepared
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, construction materials, logistics, or related fields preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately maintain records and inventory information
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and spreadsheet software
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
