OneSparQ is looking for a Security/Access Control Technician for a for building integrator located in Augusta, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and perform tests on low voltage and fiber optic cables as required
- Route cables through conduits, overhead spaces, and between floors based on project specifications
- Interpret and understand technical diagrams, operational manuals, maintenance guidelines, and procedures
- Ensure all drawings, codes, site images, and project descriptions are accurate and accessible
- Build and test equipment racks according to the established rack construction timeline
- Confirm the availability of all necessary cables, connectors, hardware, and tools for project completion
- Label all cables correctly for easy identification
Required Skills:
- 6+ months of experience terminating and installing access control systems in commercial spaces
- 6+ months of experience running cable and working in low voltage environments for installs
- Technical experience dealing with S2, Lenel, Avigilon, Genetec installs out of the box
Additional Skills:
- College/Technical Degree or equivalent related experience
- Certifications within major access control brands
- Team Lead or other leadership experience
