Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food handling areas, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces.
- Manage food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations throughout shifts.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining an organized environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is preferred; strong cash handling skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or retail settings.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or grocery store environment is a plus.
