Description:
We are currently seeking a highly qualified individual with extensive experience with the client OBI (Oracle Business Intelligence) system. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of university policies and procedures related to procurement and travel arrangements.
Key responsibilities will include navigating and utilizing the OBI system for financial reporting, ensuring compliance with university guidelines, and coordinating travel logistics in accordance with university policies. A proven track record in managing purchasing processes, along with familiarity with university purchase policies and protocols, will be advantageous.
Candidates should possess exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
(Key Responsibilities)
Purchase Orders:
Prepare, process, and track purchase orders for necessary supplies and equipment required for research activities.
Booking Rooms for Students:
Coordinate and manage the reservation of classrooms and study spaces for student use, ensuring that all bookings meet the students’ scheduling needs.
Reimbursement for the Principal Investigator (PI) and Her Research Group:
Handle the reimbursement process for the Principal Investigator and her research team, which includes collecting receipts, submitting reimbursement requests, and ensuring timely payments for research-related expenses.
Arranging and Resolving Vendor Conflicts:
Liaise with vendors to arrange services or products needed for research projects, while also addressing and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise to maintain smooth operations.
Updating the Website:
If necessary, update the Taiwan Hub’s website with new content, such as events and announcements, to keep the information current and accessible to the public and stakeholders.
