Regional Logistics Partner Claims Specialist — Job Description

Summary
Owns the end-to-end claims process against Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) for assigned stations within the region. Investigates parcel loss, theft, and scan-compliance failures attributable to DSPs; quantifies financial liability; files and defends claims; and coordinates weekly payroll deductions with Accounting. Serves as important contact for DSP claim process auditor.
Key Responsibilities
- File and adjudicate claims against DSPs for parcel loss, theft, damage, and missed/failed scans (OFD, LOD, failed loading scans), applying the current SPX universal DSP claim value schedule.
- Investigate root cause using parcel scan history, route data, delivery data, dispatch records, and video footage; maintain a complete, auditable claim file for every case.
- Serve as primary contact for DSP disputes auditor; review evidence, render decisions, and escalate high-dollar or complex cases with a clear recommendation.
- Coordinate weekly payroll deductions with Accounting; reconcile claim ledgers against Accounting records and resolve discrepancies before payment cutoff.
- Produce weekly and monthly claim reports covering total claim value, claim count by category, DSP-level breakdowns, and recovery rate; flag high-loss DSPs, routes, and shifts with recommended actions.
- Apply DSP claim policy consistently across the region; support rollout of policy and value updates; report any conflict-of-interest concerns or inappropriate offers from DSPs to senior leadership immediately.
- Partner with station Ops, QC, and Tech to ensure timely evidence submission and resolve data integrity issues impacting claim accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, conditional logic on 50K+ row datasets); SQL or BI tools a plus.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills; clear written communication; high personal integrity for handling sensitive financial and COI situations.
- Require proficiency in both Chinese and English.
Key Performance Indicators
- Claim closure cycle time within policy aging threshold.
- Recovery rate — dollars recovered vs. dollars claimed.
- Quarter-over-quarter reduction in repeat-offender DSP claim volume.
- Weekly payroll deduction accuracy (zero reconciliation breaks); low dispute overturn rate.
