Wayan, the Michelin-recognized restaurant from Cédric Vongerichten and Ochi Vongerichten, has been serving Indonesian cuisine with a modern French influence in the heart of SoHo since 2019.

Previous restaurant experience required (1+ years of Manhattan restaurant experience preferred)

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain the flow of service

Assist with water service, bread service, and replenishing guest needs throughout the meal

Develop a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage menus, including preparations, ingredients, allergens, and sourcing

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas throughout service

Perform all opening, running, and closing side work as assigned

Support both Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Follow the direction of managers and captains while working collaboratively with the service team

Assist with polishing glassware and silverware, stocking service stations, and replenishing restaurant supplies as needed

Uphold Wayan's standards of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail
Physical Requirements

Position requires standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift

Must be able to frequently climb stairs during service

Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 30–50 lbs.
