Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck with Automatic transmission to deliver products across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness before each shift.
- Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery logs.
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled with care.
Qualifications
- Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred; familiarity with box trucks is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience in warehouse environments, including heavy lifting and moving inventory.
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks safely.
- Comfortable performing manual tasks like loading/unloading cargo and lifting heavy items regularly.
