Are you an experienced craftsman or carpenter looking for a stable, year-round position where your skills are truly valued? We are seeking a skilled Professional Craftsman to join our team in the Buford, Dacula, and Auburn areas. In this role, you will help homeowners—particularly seniors, busy families, and individuals with disabilities—maintain, repair, and improve their homes. Your work will directly impact their quality of life, allowing them to live safely, comfortably, and independently.
If you enjoy variety in your day, take pride in high-quality workmanship, and prefer the stability of a Monday-through-Friday schedule without the hassle of chasing down leads or bidding on jobs, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
We believe in treating our team like family and providing a supportive, stable work environment. Here is what we offer:
- Pay Range: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Stable Schedule: Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, with consistent daytime shifts.
- Year-Round Work: Steady, reliable indoor and outdoor projects throughout the year.
- Flexible Scheduling: We respect your personal time and work with you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Professional Support: You focus on the craft; our office team handles the booking, scheduling, and customer service. We also provide company logo apparel.
In this role, no two days are exactly the same. On any given day, you might be updating a bathroom, repairing drywall, installing flooring, or tackling a list of small handyman repairs. Success means arriving on time, communicating clearly and warmly with clients, and completing projects with a high level of craftsmanship.
Over time, success is measured by the trust you build within the local community. You will become a go-to partner for our clients, helping busy families keep up with home maintenance and giving seniors the peace of mind that their homes are safe and secure.
- At least 1 year of paid, professional experience in remodeling, general carpentry, or professional handyman work.
- Hands-on skills in general carpentry and home repairs, with experience in at least a few of the following: drywall repair/patching, tiling, flooring repair/installation, painting (interior/exterior), bathroom upgrades, or minor plumbing and electrical.
- A reliable vehicle, your own standard hand and power tools, and a valid driver's license to travel to job sites.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to help others and work with seniors.
- A strong work ethic, high standards of honesty, and pride in the quality of your work.
- Multi-trade experience across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall.
- Experience specifically working with aging-in-place safety modifications, such as installing grab bars and ramps.
We run our business on five key principles that guide how we treat our clients and each other:
- Respect: We treat everyone as we want to be treated. Every voice matters.
- Exceed Expectations: We do more than expected, going above and beyond for our clients.
- Accountability: We are a trusted partner that clients can count on.
- Continuous Improvement: We strive to get better each and every day.
- Honesty: We are open, fair, and direct in all our communications.
