We are looking for a friendly host to welcome guests to the famous Bagelmania! This role requires morning/daytime hours.
The host/hostess is responsible welcoming guests into the restaurant and managing the efficient and time seating of parties to the appropriate area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Warmly greet all guests upon arrival.
- Keep guests updated on wait times, available seating, and their places in the queue.
- Answer incoming calls from guests, providing accurate information for restaurant related questions.
- Make guest reservations, or large party reservations, where applicable.
- Seat guests based on guest preference and balancing of customer flow in service stations.
- Accommodate special seating requests when possible.
- Provide guests with menus, ensure table is properly set, provide server’s name, and the diligence of willingness to help.

Communicate with servers, bussers, and bartenders as needed.

Maintain clean and orderly storage and entry areas.

Thank guests as they leave, invite them to return.

Abide by company policies regarding food service.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Must be 18 years of age of older

Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English

Bi-lingual a plus
- Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines

Sense of urgency and prioritization
- Must obtain a SNHD Food handlers card and Alcohol Awareness card
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive in busy working conditions.
