THURSDAY:8-5 PM, SPLIT ACCROSS TWO CLIENTS, ROCKMART AND DALLAS
FRIDAY: 9AM-2PM
Strides Autism Services LLC is currently seeking an energetic, passionate, well-organized, and self-motivated individual to perform 1:1 in-home therapy sessions for children with Autism in the Northwest GA area in the following role:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
The position will include both initial and ongoing hands-on training and supervision in ABA therapy from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
The ideal candidate is someone who possesses the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and will also consistently implement ABA programs and behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must be energetic, passionate, and willing to continually learn
- Must work well with children and be compassionate with their special needs
- Must be 18 years of age and have obtained a High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Have reliable transportation
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Be able to pass a background check

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing patient care and support to enhance the behavioral health and overall well-being of our clients.
Duties
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies as directed by the BCBA.
- Assist in developing and modifying treatment plans based on individual client needs.
- Provide direct support to children during therapy sessions, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Educate clients and families about behavioral techniques and strategies to promote progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and behavior data in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each child.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and safe environment for clients during sessions.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disorders.
- Knowledge of special education practices and patient care principles.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to assist in educational activities that promote skill development.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Prior experience or training in Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred but not required.
