Join Our Growing Specialized Therapy Team
Cornerstone Family Resource Center (CFRC) is expanding its YES Waiver Specialized Therapy Program and is seeking a compassionate, qualified Registered Dietitian to provide Nutritional Counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families.
This position will provide services to participants referred through both The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD and The Gulf Coast Center, offering the opportunity to build a consistent community-based caseload while making a meaningful difference in the lives of youth with behavioral health needs.
Position Summary
The Registered Dietitian will provide individualized nutritional counseling designed to improve the health, wellness, and quality of life of YES Waiver participants. Services are provided in community settings, including participant homes, schools, community locations, and approved telehealth platforms when appropriate.
Scheduling is flexible and coordinated directly with families.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition assessments.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans.
- Provide nutrition education to youth and caregivers.
- Address nutrition-related concerns including healthy eating habits, obesity prevention, medication-related weight gain, diabetes prevention, food selectivity, and wellness.
- Collaborate with Wraparound Teams and other service providers.
- Complete documentation in accordance with Medicaid and YES Waiver standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Texas.
- Meets all qualification requirements established by the YES Waiver Specialized Therapies Program.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to successfully complete background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Experience providing community-based services.
- Medicaid and/or YES Waiver experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
