Snowmass Club is seeking an Assistant Spa & Fitness Director who is passionate about hospitality, operational excellence, and delivering memorable experiences for every member and guest. This position plays a key leadership role in supporting the daily operations of the Spa & Fitness Department while overseeing Front Desk, Aquatics, Kids Club, and Member Services.

Oversee all daily Front Desk operations.

Ensure accurate member check-in, guest registration, and reservation procedures.

Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, appearance, and hospitality.

Monitor phone etiquette, retail transactions, locker assignments, and member communications.

Ensure Front Desk systems and daily procedures operate efficiently.

Train staff on Club policies, emergency procedures, and service expectations.

Oversee daily pool operations, lifeguards, swim lessons, Kids Club, and youth programming.

Ensure programs are safe, organized, engaging, and well-staffed.

Verify required certifications and staffing levels are maintained.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and emergency procedures.

Support seasonal camps, family programming, and special events.

Serve as a working manager supporting daily Spa & Fitness operations.

Assist with retail merchandising, inventory management, and purchasing.

Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and facility presentation.

Monitor equipment and facilities, reporting maintenance needs promptly.

Review daily operational reports for accuracy.

Support departmental budgeting and expense management.

Assist with member billing, locker management, and operational records.

Attend management meetings and lead department meetings in the Director's absence.

Support special projects and department initiatives.

Maintain professional communication with members, guests, vendors, and fellow team members.

Collaborate with all Club departments to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Pursue ongoing professional development and industry education.

Identify opportunities to enhance departmental programs, services, and member experiences.

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Recreation Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of three years of leadership experience in hospitality, luxury resort, private club, spa, hotel, recreation, guest services, or customer service.

Proven experience supervising teams, scheduling staff, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to learn and utilize club management software and point-of-sale systems.

CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, or the ability to obtain both within 90 days of hire.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, balance, and climb stairs throughout the workday.

Perform repetitive motions over extended periods.

Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including hot and cold conditions.
